Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary students for the remainder of the school year, just outside the Harrisburg, PA area. Utilize your expertise and passion for speech-language pathology in a supportive educational environment that values innovation and student success. This full-time position focuses on delivering impactful therapy services to a dynamic elementary caseload.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility Pennsylvania state licensure (or ability to obtain) Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations Previous school-based and teletherapy experience is highly valued Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and complete progress reports Work in partnership with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success Engage in team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development activities Utilize teletherapy platforms and in-person methods as required by the district Maintain compliant documentation and timely reporting
