A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist Weekday Availability | Asbury Riverwoods | Lewisburg, PA Benchmark Therapies is looking for a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Asbury Riverwoods in Lewisburg, PA. This would be a meaningful opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with older adults, values flexibility, and wants to be part of a supportive therapy team. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with residents while helping them improve their communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life. What You'll Do Complete speech-language pathology evaluations and develop individualized plans of care Provide treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs Help residents maintain or improve their safety, independence, and ability to participate in daily life Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support each resident's goals Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems Provide thoughtful, compassionate, and resident-centered care What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing Current Certificate of Clinical Competence, when required A genuine interest in working with older adults Strong communication and collaboration skills A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach What We Offer Flexible, as-needed scheduling Weekday coverage opportunities No set weekly schedule or guaranteed hours A minimum requirement of working once every six months to remain active A collaborative therapy team that values quality care and meaningful resident outcomes Benchmark Therapies is a therapist-led, patient-centered organization that believes the best care comes from strong relationships, responsive support, and a genuine commitment to the people and communities we serve.
Pay Range:
$55 - $60 per hour
