Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Ready to make an impact in the school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist? This contract opportunity near Mckeesport, PA, offers the chance to support K-5th grade students and work closely with a collaborative educational team. This full-time assignment starts on September 14, 2026, and continues through approximately November 20, 2026, covering a planned leave. The schedule runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring you have evenings and weekends free.

Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure and required certifications Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K-5th grade students Familiarity with IEPs and conducting speech-language evaluations Strong organizational and communication skills Team-oriented attitude and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students in kindergarten through 5th grade Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students' needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student growth Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Document student progress and maintain necessary records Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups as appropriate This is an ideal position for dedicated SLPs looking for a fulfilling, short-term contract in the greater Pittsburgh area.
