Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your passion for helping students thrive and make a real difference by supporting educational communities as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. Two dedicated SLPs are retiring, opening the door for skilled professionals eager to fill these vital roles and ensure smooth transitions for students receiving speech and language services. As a school-based SLP, you'll work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments. Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, develop personalized intervention plans, and monitor progress to foster students' communication success. Your expertise will be valued as you provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and participate in IEP meetings. Desired Experience & Qualifications Hold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or pending state licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship candidates considered Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong skills in conducting speech/language assessments and developing IEPs Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Primary Responsibilities Deliver speech-language therapy to students with varied needs Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with school policies Assist with transition planning and offer support as students advance grades or schools These contract roles provide an outstanding opportunity to contribute to positive change at a time of transition for the school community.
