Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving diverse educational environments in the greater Aston and Broomall, PA areas. This contract position offers flexibility for professionals seeking a full-time schedule (5 days per week) or those who prefer a reduced commitment of at least 2 days per week. Your expertise will be vital in supporting students across various community settings. Assignments vary and may include working in an Autism support classroom, providing itinerant services at the Aston location and nearby communities (including Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, and Chaddsford), and addressing needs at several schools around Upper Darby, Yeadon, Darby, Clifton Heights, Ridley, Broomall, Lansdowne, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, and Wayne.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology—CCCs) PDE Certification required Experience working in school-based settings, including with students who have Autism Knowledge of assessment tools, treatment strategies, and progress monitoring techniques Strong organizational and time management skills to support caseload flexibility Ability to start immediately
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to district-assigned students Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families Adapt intervention strategies to accommodate diverse student needs and locations Engage in team meetings and contribute to the IEP process This role ensures meaningful impact through daily engagement and professional growth while you make a difference in communities across the region.
