The position is based within the Low Incidence Program at a local education center, serving a diverse, full-time caseload over 3-4 days per week. Qualifications/Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Active Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) School-based SLP experience preferred Background working with students with complex needs or in a low-incidence classroom is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in the Low Incidence Program Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student goals Document services and maintain compliance with all school and state requirements Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer insights into communication strategies Adapt interventions and materials to meet students individual needs This rewarding contract assignment enables you to advocate for student success while maintaining flexibility in your work week.
