A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Full-Time | Full School Year | K-4 Caseload We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team for the full school year. This position will serve students in Kindergarten through 4th grade , supporting a variety of speech, language, and communication needs.

Kindergarten-4th Grade Responsibilities Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation. Serve students with speech-only IEPs as well as students receiving speech-language services as a related service for various disabilities. Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and student progress. Provide individual and/or small-group therapy based on student needs. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility for PA licensure.

ASHA CCC-SLP

preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
