Job Description

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Independent Contractor | Early Intervention Progressive Pediatric Therapy is seeking an experienced and compassionate pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention services and evaluations in Berks, Schuylkill, Lebanon, and/or Lancaster counties . This is a flexible contract position for an SLP who enjoys working with young children and families in their natural environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, family-centered, and comfortable providing both direct treatment and multidisciplinary Early Intervention evaluations. Responsibilities Provide speech and language services to infants and toddlers in their homes and community settings Complete developmental/Early Intervention evaluations (Berks and/or Lancaster Counties) Collaborate with families, caregivers, service coordinators, and other members of the child's team Develop functional, family-centered recommendations that support children within their daily routines Complete documentation and reports accurately and within required timelines Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania Early Intervention requirements and professional standards Manage scheduling and communication with families independently Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA At least 1-3 years of experience working with children Experience with infants, toddlers, and Pennsylvania Early Intervention strongly preferred Comfortable completing both direct treatment and Early Intervention evaluations Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the selected service area Current professional liability insurance and required clearances Position Details Independent contractor position Flexible scheduling Opportunities available in Berks, Schuylkill, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties Clinicians may select their preferred counties and service areas Combination of direct Early Intervention services and evaluations Progressive Pediatric Therapy is a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming practice committed to evidence-based, family-centered care.
