A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Our mission is simple:
provide exceptional, individualized care while creating a workplace where therapists truly enjoy coming to work. We intentionally keep our practice relationship-centered—not productivity-centered—so our therapists have the time and support to provide quality care and build lasting connections with the children and families they serve. What You'll Do Evaluate and treat pediatric clients with speech and language disorders. Provide therapy in homes, daycares, and through teletherapy as appropriate. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other providers. Complete documentation and progress notes in a timely manner. Help children build the foundational communication skills they need to thrive. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Alabama SLP license (or ability to obtain). CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for working with children and supporting families.
