Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by bringing your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging elementary school setting, working with students in grades K-4. Supporting a manageable caseload of 33 students at a single school site, you'll play a crucial role in helping children achieve important communication milestones. This contract-based, full-time opportunity is conveniently located near Arvada, CO, and offers the possibility of a hybrid schedule for exceptional candidates.
Qualifications & Skills:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) Current (or pending) Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings Strong teletherapy skills and adaptability to both in-person and virtual delivery Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered therapy No SLPA supervision required for this role
Responsibilities:
Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to elementary students (grades K-4) Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families Maintain thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and timely report completion Engage families and teachers to support student growth and generalization of skills Utilize both in-person and teletherapy models as needed (hybrid option available) Stay current with best practices and district guidelines
