A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services for elementary, middle, and high school students. This position allows for remote delivery of 1:1 therapy sessions using a virtual platform designed to support effective telepractice.
Responsibilities include:
Providing individualized speech therapy sessions via a secure virtual platform Conducting evaluations and assessments remotely to identify student needs Collaborating with educators and families through digital communication tools Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports according to regulatory standards Utilizing interactive learning materials during therapy sessions Participating in ongoing clinical and technical training as needed Desired qualifications and experience: Valid speech-language pathology certification/licensure applicable to the location of service Experience delivering speech therapy services to school-age children across elementary, middle, and high school levels Ability to conduct telepractice services effectively in a remote setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students and collaborating with school personnel and families Familiarity with virtual platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital assessments This 1099 contract position offers flexibility in scheduling, accommodating diverse availability while working from home.
