Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in California (or eligibility) Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued Strong evaluative, diagnostic, and intervention skills for varied caseloads Excellent communication and collaboration skills for supporting students, staff, and families
Anticipated Responsibilities Include:
Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for students Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Delivering evidence-based therapies for students with diverse needs Maintaining clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school teams to optimize student outcomes Engaging actively in IEP meetings and professional development Flexibly adapting to caseload details as assignments are finalized
