9666071-77407 Job Description Step into a role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist helps make a real impact on students lives. As part of a dedicated team supporting schools near Richmond, TX, you'll find purpose in collaborating with educators and other clinicians, empowering students to communicate and succeed. This school-based contract position offers a unique balance of autonomy and teamwork. You'll support 2-3 schools, with a central office as your home base, and join a district committed to a workloadnot just caseloadmodel. This means your time and skills are respected as you provide services and, most likely, offer supervision to a motivated SLPA. Flexibility is built in, with at least one remote workday each week, and potential for more based on individual circumstances.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required School-based Speech-Language Pathology experience strongly preferred Comfort supervising an SLPA (experience a plus) Ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Supervise and mentor an SLPA, supporting their professional growth Maintain clear communication with teachers, administrators, and families Manage an organized workload across multiple school sites Utilize district-provided resources and support to maximize your impact
