Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students by bringing your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, in-person opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, providing services districtwide across multiple schools. You'll have the chance to collaborate with a supportive staff and make meaningful connections with students as you help them unlock their communication potential.

Position Details:

Academic year contract, August 2026 - June 2027 Full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-37.5 hours per week Districtwide K-12 caseload across multiple school locations In-person role; remote applications cannot be considered Ongoing collaboration with education teams and families

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Previous school-based experience preferred (not required) Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for fostering student development across diverse populations

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy and intervention to students with speech, language, and communication needs Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain clear documentation and adhere to district and state guidelines Engage collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed Take the next step in your SLP career while supporting students' growth and confidence in a welcoming school setting.
