Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist and help support elementary students for the entire school year in a rewarding, flexible role. A district near Nevada City, CA is seeking a dedicated SLP for a part-time contract opportunity—working with a manageable elementary caseload just 8 hours each week. This position can be fulfilled virtually, making it ideal for those seeking both impactful work and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid SLP license in California or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered. Experience working within elementary school environments or similar pediatric settings. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and remote service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and individualized therapy interventions. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student goals, progress, and services. Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal guidelines.
