What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Role:
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to support individuals in achieving clearer communication and improved quality of life. You'll work with patients of varying ages and needs, in a supportive environment that values flexibility, autonomy, and professional growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to children and/or adults with speech and communication challenges.
- Collaborate with physicians, educators, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document patient records.
- Educate patients and families on techniques to support therapy goals at home.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Georgia state license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Prior clinical or educational experience in speech therapy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
