What You'll Bring:

Active Rhode Island SLP license required Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong skills in administering assessments and conducting therapy for preschool-aged children Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students in a preschool program Exceptional communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering student development and academic success

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language assessment, evaluations, and direct therapy to preschool students Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student support and intervention strategies Advocate for inclusive, evidence-based practices within the school community
