Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a school community close to Providence, RI. This contract opportunity lets you collaborate with educators, families, and students to foster growth and communication in an engaging educational setting. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, alongside a passion for helping young learners achieve their full potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure or eligibility in Rhode Island Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Previous school-based experience is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff Provide direct therapy and support to students individually and in groups Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to track progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school and district protocols Support a positive and inclusive school environment This role offers the opportunity for professional growth, close partnership with dedicated educators, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
