Job Description

Step into an impactful Speech-Language Pathology role supporting a vibrant, culturally diverse student population in a school-based setting near Warwick, RI. This long-term contract extends from your earliest possible start through June 2027, offering stability and the opportunity to make a tangible difference year after year. You'll work a steady 35 hours per week, with flexible caseloads that average around 60 students but may fluctuate depending on current needs. Assignments are available within Standard PK12, Early Childhood/Preschool, or Bilingual tracks, allowing you to align your expertise and passions with the right student mix.
Key Qualifications:
Active, in-progress, or eligible for
RIDE PK-12 SLP
Certification CCC-SLP required; SLPAs and CFs are not eligible School-based experience supporting diverse and multilingual students highly preferred Proficiency with AAC and assistive technology setup and management Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills Collaborative approachable to communicate effectively with teachers and families
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct speech/language therapy to students with varied needs Complete comprehensive assessments and develop strategies for student success Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AAC and assistive technology devices Partner with classroom teachers and advise parents on learning support techniques Maintain timely, compliant paperwork and progress notes Flex between caseloads as needed, adapting to student and school priorities This role offers the chance to work alongside a highly supportive team in an urban district renowned for its multicultural environment.
