9517381-02886 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity focused on making a positive impact in the lives of students ages 5 to 22. This is a full-time opening, beginning May 18, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with the potential for extended school year work and transition into the 2026/2027 academic year. Youll be working with a caseload of 18-22 students, primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and play a key role in supporting their communication needs within a collaborative school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Current, active Rhode Island Speech Language Pathology license (required) Open to Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school experience Previous experience supporting school-aged children, especially those with ASD, is highly valued Willingness to complete on-site safety care training Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

Provide assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload Deliver direct therapy, document progress, and collaborate with educators and families Adapt interventions to meet each students unique needs, fostering growth and development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to student support teams Engage in safety care training to ensure the well-being of students and staff Enjoy a highly competitive pay rate of $52-58 per hour, with 37.5 hours per week structured over five days.
