This role is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are passionate about helping students reach their full potential. You'll collaborate with educators and families to deliver interventions that foster communication skills and academic success across a diverse range of learners. What you'll need: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and valid SLP license in Rhode Island ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working in school environments preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Dedication to providing evidence-based therapy and documentation What you'll do: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students Develop, plan, and deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and IEP documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Provide input for eligibility, re-evaluation, and annual meetings Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and empowered This contract assignment offers a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise will truly make an impact.
