Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in state of assignment or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric populations Effective collaboration and communication skills Proficiency writing IEPs and conducting assessments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in group and/or one-on-one settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance with school and district policies Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team sessions as needed Educate staff and parents on communication strategies and best practices Imagine contributing to a supportive school environment and helping students discover the power of communication.
