Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid

SLP - CCC

(Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) State licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology Previous experience working within elementary (K-5) school settings is highly preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with faculty, families, and other professionals Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally responsive services

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess students speech, language, and communication needs through comprehensive screenings and formal assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing a range of communication disorders Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to K-5th grade students in both individual and small group settings Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings with actionable input Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment that nurtures every students potential Educate and provide resources to staff and caregivers to reinforce carryover of skills outside of therapy sessions
