Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This school-based position offers a supportive environment and the chance to help students reach their fullest communication potential. You'll work closely with students, educators, and caregivers to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will open doors for students, building both their confidence and academic success. The role is a contract position, providing stability and rewarding challenges throughout the academic year.
Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Active South Carolina SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Experience working in a school setting preferred, though strong clinical skills and a commitment to working with children are highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and IEP participation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies Support and advocate for student inclusion and engagement in learning activities In addition to a fulfilling professional experience, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly range of $40-$50 and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
