Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a tangible difference in the lives of students as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. This position focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services within an educational setting, supporting children's communication skills and overall academic success. Bring your expertise in both evaluation and treatment to a collaborative school environment. You'll work closely with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement individualized plans that help students reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both in individual and group settings
  • Maintain all required documentation and progress reports within district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement
