Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school-based setting near Newberry, SC. This onsite contract role offers an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively and support K-12 learners in achieving their communication and academic goals throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic testing for students with communication disorders Develop, write, and implement individualized IEPs tailored for each student Deliver direct therapyboth individual and group sessionswhile tracking progress and documenting results Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team consultations, and staff development events Work closely with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff to create positive outcomes for students
Position Details:
Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week Assignments may include 12 school sites within the region Serve a diverse K12 caseload (detailed caseload breakdown shared during interviews) Includes paid administrative time and team meeting hours Onsite placement is required
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active or in-process South Carolina SLP state license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required Must successfully complete state background and fingerprinting checks before start date Prior K-12 school-based SLP experience preferred; adaptable new clinicians and CFYs are encouraged to apply This dynamic, supportive environment welcomes both local and travel clinicians interested in relocating for the contract term.
