Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at our Rock Hill outpatient setting. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat children and young adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work across various settings including homes, schools, daycare centers, and our innovative sensory gym. Your expertise will help children develop essential communication skills, foster independence, and achieve their full potential through engaging therapy sessions. Therapy World is currently offering a sign on bonus of $5,000.00 for this role. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adolescent populations to identify communication needs. Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each child's unique goals and needs. Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions in diverse settings such as homes, schools, or via telehealth platforms. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care strategies. Monitor progress regularly, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EMR). Educate parents and caregivers on speech therapy techniques to support ongoing development at home. Participate in early intervention programs and provide services for children with disabilities or speech impairments. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical or school settings. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques for language development and articulation disorders. Familiarity with comprehensive speech and language evaluations as well as early intervention strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams including educators and healthcare professionals. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or communication impairments preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to speech production, medical terminology, and patient assessment procedures. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes.
