A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
We are seeking (4) talented Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our team for the school year
Hourly Rate Range :
$45.00-$61.00 per hour
Responsibilities :
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans Provide direct speech-language therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings Address articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress Document therapy sessions, student progress, and assessment results in compliance with South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) and IDEA regulations Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions Train and support teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations
Required Qualifications :
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Educator Certificate with appropriate Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred Fingerprint clearance and background check required
