9604707-29909 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team supporting students communication needs. Youll play an integral role in helping children achieve their academic and social potential.
Qualifications and Preferred Background:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure and
ASHA CCC-SLP
(or eligibility) Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary caseloads, is preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Comfortable managing multiple priorities and cases
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines Conduct assessments, screeners, and evaluations as needed Work closely with teachers and other specialists to develop and update IEPs Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Offer consultative support and training to educators and families Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
