e2247-57005 Job Description Step into a rewarding full-time, on-site opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to pediatric students. This role based near Brandon, SD, welcomes travel professionals eager to make a positive impact in a dynamic school setting. Ideal candidates bring expertise in both classic and innovative pediatric SLP practices, thriving in collaborative educational environments. You'll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and supporting their academic and social success.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active state licensure for speech-language pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility. Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations. Solid communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting student IEP goals. Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups in accordance with best practices. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress. Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance and reporting. Engage in school-based meetings and provide consultation as needed to staff and families.
