Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging, school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students' communication and academic progress throughout the full school year. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional ready to work 24 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
Key Skills and Background:
Current TN SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or healthcare-related SLP preferred Expertise in evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, teachers, and families Comfortable adapting therapy plans to individual student needs SLPAs are not eligible for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of school-aged students Conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultative support to educators and families to maximize student success Adhere to all federal, state, and district requirements for documentation and service delivery Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in the field This contract position offers the flexibility of a part-time schedule in a supportive school environment.
