Job Description

Job description We are hiring Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologists for Shelby County, TN! We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of qualified professionals. The successful candidate will work directly with clients, using their knowledge and wide range of skills and techniques to assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing/feeding issues.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), open to CF. Current TN SLP License (or willing to obtain). Have a valid U.S. driver's license. Pass background check clearance. Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Have the ability to walk, bend, sit, and stand during the work shift. Provide own transportation. Experience with pediatric populations.
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluations, develop and implement therapy goals. Diagnose speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, or voice pathologies. Act as a liaison and collaborate with other professionals/team members and families to provide well-rounded care. Educate patients and their families in proper treatment techniques, including the use of assistive devices. Provide written documentation of client services, including but not limited to, writing session notes and uploading them to a database timely. Collaborate on the development and implementation of IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan). Provide 1:1 dynamic intervention in the natural environment. Create interventions that focus on coaching and equipping the family/caregiver to reflect on his or her actions as a means to improve their child's functioning.
