Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Memphis, TN area, serving school settings. This role requires delivering speech and language therapy services to students in educational environments, focusing on supporting communication development and addressing speech disorders.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP certification or license appropriate for practice in Tennessee. Experience working with children in school settings, preferably within public or private school systems. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and collaborate with educators and families. Flexibility and adaptability to travel and work in different school environments within the Memphis region.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to students' needs. Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students. Document progress and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success. Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing communication goals.
Location and Work Environment:
