What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Tennessee SLP licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapistsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Provide direct therapy services in group and individual settings Maintain thorough and accurate records of evaluations, treatment, and progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomesWhat You'll Gain:
