Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as an Itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students across various schools within a welcoming county-wide district setting. This full-time contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work independently Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with a variety of communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
Travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant SLP to deliver direct and indirect services to students with communication needs Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate actively in IEP meetings Provide intervention and therapy individually or in small groups according to students' needs Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills Keep accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all documentation requirements Engage in ongoing professional development to best serve diverse student populations Take advantage of a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and where you can truly see the outcomes of your work.
