A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Itinerant Therapy East Tennessee | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available No evaluations. No case management. More time doing the work you became an SLP to do. Thrive Therapies Group is expanding our Itinerant Therapy Program in East Tennessee , and we're looking for Speech-Language Pathologists who want to spend more of their time working directly with students - and less time buried in administrative responsibilities. Our itinerant therapy model brings high-quality therapy directly to the communities that need it while giving clinicians the flexibility, resources, and support they need to do their best work. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Why SLPs Will Love This Role No Evaluations. No Case Management. Your focus is therapy. You'll provide direct speech-language services without the added responsibility of evaluations or clinical case management. More Face-to-Face Time With Students Provide focused, 40-minute therapeutic sessions with a stable, consistent student caseload.
