Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services within a mid-sized school district in San Antonio, TX, on a contract basis. The role is a maternity leave position, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week) itinerant across two middle schools serving grades 6-8, supporting approximately 100 students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention plans tailored to middle school students. Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs and progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations. Travel between two assigned campuses to provide consistent, high-quality services.
Qualifications:
Current professional license as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC). Completion of mandatory fingerprinting and background checks. Experience working with children in school settings preferred. Ability to manage itinerant caseload effectively.
Location & Schedule:
Position located in San Antonio, TX. Scheduled to start on April 1, 2026, and continue through May 22, 2026. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Onboarding to be completed by March 30, 2026, with anticipated start on April 6, 2026.
