Job Description

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant community near Burleson, TX. This full-time, full-school-year position offers a dynamic mix of supervisory responsibilities and hands-on therapy with an elementary caseload of 70-80 students per campus. You'll play a pivotal role in fostering communication skills and helping young learners thrive, while also mentoring SLPAs at the elementary level. With likely itinerant duties, flexibility and adaptability are key.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Previous experience in school-based settings Comfortable supervising SLPAs Willing to coach clinical fellows (CFs) Must have experience with elementary caseloads Ability to travel between campuses as needed Commitment to evidence-based practices and collaboration Teletherapy (Voco) positions are not available
Job Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Supervise and support SLPAs; ensure high-quality service delivery Serve as a mentor for clinical fellows, fostering professional development Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed Travel between assigned campuses in an itinerant capacity This contract role offers an opportunity to make a profound difference in the school community, with professional development and growth as a central focus.
