Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Active Texas SLP license (must be current for immediate consideration) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience supporting school-aged children, ideally in a school setting Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills Willingness to provide supervision and mentorship to SLP Assistants Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in diverse educational settings
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students K-12 Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain timely and accurate records of all assessments, treatments, and progress reports Supervise and support SLPAs to ensure high-quality service delivery Participate in district-wide initiatives and professional development as appropriate This contract position is available to start as soon as possible and runs through May 26, 2027.
