9669808-76036 Job Description Make an impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Crowley, TX. This full-time, full school year contract position brings the opportunity to work with a diverse elementary caseload and supervise SLPAs, enriching your professional experience in an educational setting. With 70-80 students per campus, your expertise will help shape students communication abilities and contribute to their academic and social success.
What were looking for:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist credentials and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Proven experience in a school-based SLP role, especially at the elementary level Readiness to supervise and mentor SLP Assistants at an elementary campus Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and adjust to multiple campuses as needed Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention No requirement or expectation for virtual or remote services Key responsibilities: Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students with speech, language, and communication needs Direct and supervise SLPAs, reviewing their work and offering guidance to maintain high standards of intervention Develop collaborative relationships with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document evaluations, progress, and service delivery in compliance with school and district guidelines Support the provision of speech and language services across multiple elementary school sites Enjoy the unique rewards of working in a supportive school community deeply invested in its students and staff.
