Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Speech Language Pathologist or SLPA to join our dynamic team, at a charter school in the Bridgeland area of Cypress. This position is ideal for motivated professionals eager to contribute their skills in a flexible, supportive environment while gaining valuable experience across diverse populations. Setting Charter school in Cypress, zip code 77433. Caseload will be supplemented with outpatient patients in our office location in zip code 77433 as needed. Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, 1:1 and in group settings. Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Track daily session data. Assist with speech and hearing screenings. Maintain administrative records like progress reports and Medicaid billing as requested from supervisor. Other duties may apply depending on campus and supervisor, as long as it's within SLPA's scope of work.

Qualifications SLP:

Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders or similar

AND ASHA

CCC's.

SLPA:

Bachelors or certificate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or similar for SLPA's is required. At least 6 months of experience in pediatric speech therapy. School experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of pediatrics and early intervention practices Experience with AAC programing and therapy is a plus. Working knowledge of physiology relevant to speech.

Compensation:

SLP hourly rate $60-65/hour contract 1099. SLP hourly rate $55-60/hour W2 + benefits. SLPA hourly rate $40-50/hour W2 + benefits. Benefits for full time W2 employees: 401k with employer matching of 3-5% with immediate eligibility upon hire. Medical, vision, and dental insurance with 70% employer contribution. Life insurance policy-100% employer contribution. CEU subscription-100% employer contribution. Licensure reimbursement. ASHA dues reimburesement.

Pay:

$40.00 - $65.00 per hour
