Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in skilled nursing facilities. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by implementing personalized therapy plans and collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. You will play a vital role in fostering effective communication skills for these geriatric patients. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication impairments in pediatric and adult patients. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques in our skilled nursing facilities. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies to maximize outcomes and ensure continuous improvement. Document all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home or in educational environments. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the applicable state or region. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, anatomy, physiology related to speech production, and medical terminology. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for individuals with speech impairments or disabilities. Experience implementing speech therapy techniques for adult/geriatics including those with disabilities or developmental delays. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering remote services effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic care plans. Excellent communication skills for parent collaboration and patient education. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes. Pay:

$42.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 40.0 per week
