Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting student communication and academic success for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. We're seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are passionate about making a difference in the school setting. This is an excellent contract opportunity for professionals with school-based backgrounds who thrive in collaborative environments and value the impact of their work in educational communities.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (screenshot required with application) Prior experience in a school setting as an SLP or SLPA Strong understanding of speech/language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies Skilled communicator who fosters positive, effective relationships with students, staff, and families Availability to work on-site for the entirety of the school year Reliable transportation to the assigned school or schools Ability and willingness to complete necessary background fingerprinting within initial days of contract
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records, timely reporting, and ongoing professional development This opportunity offers competitive compensation for SLP-CCC, Bilingual SLP-CCC, and SLPA roles.
