A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Speech Language Pathologist 1213 Water Street, Kerrville, TX 78028 Part-time, Full-time, PRN Part-time, Full-time, PRN Arborview Nursing and Rehab is under New Leadership! In-house therapy model that sees the value therapy brings to the residents and the team! Full time hours in one facility, no need to travel between buildings! Compensation based on experience! We are in the process of making positive changes including building in-house therapy programs, honoring competitive compensation and benefits for our amazing staff, improving the physical plant of our facilities where needed and working hard to become the providers of choice in our community. Join us and help us drive positive change for our patients and residents! We are looking for Speech Language Pathologists to join our dedicated staff. We do welcome CFY candidates to apply and do have an expectional SLP-CCC who can provide the required Supervision. We seek an SLP who is a self-motivated healthcare professional with a passion for thinking outside the box, developing patient centered clinical programming, and providing outstanding care to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
