9587317-76550 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, contract to hire position offers a consistent schedule, working 37.5 hours per week across 1-2 sites. Begin making an impact starting August 14, 2025, from 7:30am to 4pm each day. Use your skills and passion to empower students in their communication and learning journeys. Ideal candidates possess a strong background in school-based speech services and excel in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments. You'll work closely with students, educators, and families to deliver individualized support designed for academic success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active or eligible Texas SLP licensure (CFY, SLP-CCC, or SLP-A) School-based experience or strong interest in K-12 settings Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work on-site (teletherapy is not being considered for now) Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assessments, diagnostics, and therapy for speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to develop effective treatment strategies Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Deliver direct services to students at one or two school sites each week This position offers a chance to truly make a difference in students lives while experiencing professional growth in a supportive educational community.
