9599644-75146 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Based near Lancaster, TX, this full-time role provides the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by helping them overcome communication challenges and realize their full potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid SLP license in Texas, including CCC-SLP certification Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills Ability to create engaging, personalized therapy plans for students of varying ages and ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy sessions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to monitor progress and advocate for students needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to student cases Stay current with best practices and maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines This position provides the perfect environment to hone your skills while positively influencing students academic achievements and long-term growth.
