Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite role runs from November through March or April to provide maternity leave coverage, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week. Youll collaborate across school sites and work closely with a dynamic team to deliver quality pediatric speech services. Your expertise will be key in completing evaluations, managing IEPs, and providing individualized and group therapy for school-aged children. Some positions may focus exclusively on evaluations, while others will include a full SLP caseload. The exact number of schools assigned will be determined upon placement, and travel between schools may be required. School-based experience is necessary to ensure seamless support for students and staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Texas SLP license and current certification (SLP-CCC) Demonstrated experience in school settings Proficient in pediatric and school-based SLP responsibilities Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and therapy implementation Ability to work onsite full time and travel between school campuses if required Strong communication and collaboration skills
