Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week Position Overview Plano ISD is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support senior high school students (11th and 12th grades) during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop communication skills that support academic success, independence, and post-secondary readiness. The selected SLP will manage a caseload of approximately 40 students and work collaboratively with educators, administrators, families, and special education teams to deliver high-quality speech and language services. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in a high school setting. Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals and treatment plans. Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and accommodations. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations. Assignment Details Approximately 40 students on caseload High school population (11th and 12th grade students) Evaluation, therapy, consultation, and IEP support responsibilities Qualifications Required Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Ability to work onsite for the duration of the assignment Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Preferred ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous school-based experience Experience working with high school-aged students Knowledge of special education processes and IEP development Why Join Plano ISD?
