A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Position Details Schedule:

Part-time (minimum 15 hours) to full-time

Locations:

Prosper, TX Setting:

Outpatient pediatric clinic Responsibilities Meet productivity expectations and clinic standards Complete diagnostic assessments for a wide range of pediatric clinical needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide evidence based treatment for identified disorders Maintain required documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate with related providers to ensure quality, coordinated care Provide continuous parent education and family support Pursue continuing education to support and strengthen clinical skill development Qualifications Current Texas State Board of Examiners license Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Two years of experience preferred Pediatric feeding experience preferred Experience using an electronic medical record for patient documentation preferred ePnRXK4moV
