Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligible for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous school-based experience is highly desired, though not required Strong communication and organizational abilities Enthusiasm for working with children and collaborating with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs through formal and informal evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom Engage with families to discuss student progress and offer support strategies Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute creative solutions for student success
